Florida A&M College of Law students are beating state averages
The FAMU College of Law sent more than 150 students to take the Bar and had a 70 percent passing rate in July. That was the highest passing rate for such a large group.

FAMU’s College of Law was recently under review by the American Bar Association for the quality of its program. The association said that the school was not meeting the criteria to stay accredited.

The accreditation committee questioned whether FAMU was doing enough to prepare students for the exam needed to get a law license. The 31-page report points out that 30 percent of the students admitted either do not graduate the school or do not pass the bar exam.For you non-math majors, that's a steady mark of improvement. This is like the kid running home with a D+ on his report card because he's not getting D's anymore, but if you put it in a press release, it looks much, much more reputable.

Don't worry, JD graduates don't need to pass the bar exam. There are many prestigious non-attorney jobs waiting for JD graduates. Corporations are eager to hire as executives those who don't pass the bar exam.

Your prestigious 71.7% bar passage rate is LOWER THAN BOTH the overall pass rate of 77.2% and then 72.2% for graduates of non-Florida schools. Now, take a breath before reading further FAMU waterheads, because this next sentence may cause your brain to shut down.
The pass rate for JDs from Florida schools is also higher than the rate for your specific trash pit.
Hell, this is more akin to a grade school kid running home with a D+ on his report card because he's not getting D's AND not getting his head flushed in a toilet anymore.
